Born in Arizona, raised in the rural parts of Idaho and Montana, AJ has worked in a multitude of industries including ranch management, luxury property management, and the oil fields as a supervising geologist. Graduating from the University of Idaho with a B.S. in Geological Sciences in 2012, he has since spent most of his time with his wife, daughter, and their two Labradors in Coeur d’Alene.
AJ has a passion for the outdoors and was a licensed hunting guide in the state of Montana from 2015-2017. When he’s not spending time with his family or working, AJ enjoys fishing in the region and has extensive knowledge of both warm and cold water species. He can also be found exploring the wilderness of Idaho in search of Mule Deer, Whitetail Deer, Turkeys, Elk, and Bear.
From AJ:
“While I’ve worked in many fields, I have found my calling in real estate. Honestly, I feel it was meant to be as my father was a Civil Engineer/Planner at his own firm and my mother was an escrow manager for over a decade in Tucson, AZ. My ‘pedigree’ so to speak allowed me to quickly grasp the complicated processes and laws of real estate. That’s why as soon as I qualified, I began studying to become a broker. I’m a self-described dilletante and there’s always something to learn in this industry.
My professional focus to both new and returning clients is to ensure that they achieve their goals. Whether it’s buying or selling their first piece of property or their 30th. Every transaction is different and while there are many similarities, no two deals are identical. I pride myself on being very clear and honest with my evaluations of property and ensuring integrity is upheld even when a transaction gets a little rocky.
Having a profound love of the outdoors my niché was always going to be land and ranch sales. I’m sure my clients can attest that at times when out walking a new listing or showing a vacant land property I’ll get appear distracted looking at old growth cedar trees, listening to the turkeys gobble across a canyon, inspecting soil horizons underneath rocks, or examining the local insect hatch. Little details matter when you are looking to make an investment or calculating a property’s highest and best use.
Land is a commodity, and I can help determine if a property is a good fit to achieve your goals. Whether you’re looking to develop a large acreage property, buying your first house, or selling your family’s legacy property I promise you that I will always advocate for the best on your behalf. I look forward to working with you soon.”
